Minister for Tourism, Zoe Bettison said the unveiling of the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant Royal Family signifies that the most magical day of the year is fast approaching.

“Our Pageant is one of South Australia’s most beloved events, and now two lucky children have the chance to be part of one of its wonderful longstanding traditions as Junior Royals,” Minister Bettison said.

“It is an important day on our calendar, as not only do Christmas trees go up across the state, but it marks the beginning of the major Christmas trade period for our operators.

“Good luck to all those who enter, I cannot wait to be standing behind the blue honour line to see you waving to the crowds lining Adelaide’s streets on Saturday 4 November.”

Brian Gilbertson, National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant Director is looking forward to selecting two lucky children to take part in this year’s event.

“The Royal Family is a longstanding tradition for the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant, and they play a crucial role in the lead up to and during the event,” said Mr Gilbertson.
