New mini float adds a ‘Sprinkle of Magic’ to the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant

The 93rd National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant has bolstered its float line-up as the winning design from the 2025 mini float competition was revealed today.

‘Made with Love and a Sprinkle of Magic’ designed by Oakley Formosa from Redwood Park Primary School, was selected from over 400 entries and will take to the streets of Adelaide for the Pageant on Saturday 8 November.

Oakley’s design features a glass of milk and a stack of Christmas cookies left out for Father Christmas, all surrounded by people dressed as chocolate chip cookies! It’s a joyful celebration of baking with loved ones and the heartwarming tradition of leaving treats for Father Christmas and his reindeer on their gift-giving journey.

‘Made with Love and a Sprinkle of Magic’ will bring a new layer of festivity to this year’s Pageant, where it will be showcased alongside 170 other theatrical sets in the southern hemisphere’s largest public parade.

The mini float competition is a much-loved element of the Christmas Pageant – with 2025 being the 13th year that a South Australian primary school student has had the opportunity to see their very own design feature in the Pageant!
