Stars align at this year's National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant's Carols presented by OTR

A star-studded cast will come out to deliver a night of entertainment as part of this year’s National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant’s Carols & Light of Hope presented by OTR.

Four-time Logie winner, acting and singing sensation, Hugh Sheridan, will be bringing the Christmas magic to life as he takes to the stage at National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant as he performs alongside the Australian Girls’ Choir as part of the Carols & Light of Hope presented by OTR.

The Australian actor and musician previously starred in the television shows, Play School, House Husbands and the critically acclaimed Packed to the Rafters.

His 12-track debut album, Speak Love, was released under Sony Music Australia and peaked at number 86 on the ARIA charts.

Accompanying Sheridan is a local star-studded lineup comprising of Rachael Leahcar, G-NAT!ON and Oscar Bridges.

Yasser Shahin, Executive Chair, OTR and Peregrine Corporation said Hugh Sheridan performing carols alongside the Australian Girls’ Choir at this year’s National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant would be a real treat for the Adelaide Oval and home audiences.

“We are excited to have such an array of South Australia’s home-grown talent join the Carols on what is going to be a night to remember.

“OTR is proud to be the presenting partner for the Pageant’s Carols and the Light of Hope ceremony and encourage TV audiences to download the Carols songbook from the Pageant website and sing-along at home.”

Australian singer-songwriter, Rachael Leahcar, made her debut on the first season of The Voice Australia placing third. Her debut album Shooting Star debuted at number five on the ARIA Albums Chart, containing songs she performed on The Voice.

G-NAT!ON are Adelaide’s show-stopping 6-piece sensation featuring some of Adelaide’s most outstanding vocalists and performers.

Completing the lineup for this year’s Christmas festivities is Oscar Bridges, an upcoming theatre star who made his professional debut at only 10 years old in The Sound of Music and has starred in over 20 shows with Adelaide Youth Theatre.

National Pharmacies’ director Brian Gilbertson opened-up about his excitement for an all Australian star-studded lineup:

“We are absolutely thrilled to have such solid Australian talent joining us for this year’s festivities all on one stage, in one night. It is truly the night we deserve after such a challenging year for South Australia.”

The National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant will take place on November 14 at Adelaide Oval and will be broadcast live from 7pm on Channel Nine and streamed on 9Now.
