Heading to the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant at Adelaide Oval? FREE public transport can help get you there
Adelaide Metro will provide extra buses, trains and trams to get you to and from this year’s National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant.
Please be aware that many road closures and public transport detours will be in place.

This year, the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant will be held at Adelaide Oval, which has many public transport services close by:
• Adelaide Railway Station (7 minute walk via River Torrens footbridge)
• Adelaide Railway Station Tram Stop (7 minute walk)
• Festival Plaza tram stop (6 minute walk via King William Road)
• Multiple major bus routes service King William Road/Street, North Terrace and Currie/Grenfell Streets (walking distances varying between 2-8 minutes)
Free Travel
Free Travel will be available on Saturday 14 November from first service until last service to people travelling to and from the Pageant on all regular Adelaide Metro and Adelaide Oval Express bus, train and tram services, upon presentation of a valid event ticket.
Bus Services
A regular weekend timetable will be operating from 6:12am to 12:12am.
Adelaide Oval Express bus services will commence at 4-4.30pm with the last service arriving into Adelaide at 6.30pm. Adelaide Oval Express buses will drop off and pick at designated locations along King William Road.
Adelaide Oval Express bus services will operate up to two hours before the event and depart King William Road bus interchange up to 45 minutes after the event.
