35,000 Attendees confirmed for the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant at Adelaide Oval

In wonderful news for South Australians, 35,000 Pageant lovers have been approved to attend the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant at Adelaide Oval on November 13, 2021.  

The update comes as the Pageant team at Events South Australia works closely with SA Health and SAPOL to ensure the beloved South Australian community event remains safe for all in attendance. 

Premier Steven Marshall said it was fantastic news that our treasured Christmas Pageant will be seen live by 35,000 excited children and families across the State. 

“We are thrilled to be bringing the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant to the people of South Australia again, this time with an addition 10,000 South Australians being able to attend live,” Premier Marshall said. 

“And let’s not forget, the Pageant will be beamed out live across every South Australian television to those who don’t get a ticket in the ballot, so there’s plenty of opportunity to see the magical floats, amazing performers and of course the big guy himself – Father Christmas!” 

National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant Director, Brian Gilbertson AM, said the news came at a welcome time, with ballot registrations opening to South Australians far and wide next Friday, 29 October at 10am through to 10pm Sunday 31 October. 

“Today marks an especially important day for our National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant community, with news of 35,000 confirmed to attend this year. We whole heartedly thank SA Health and SAPOL for working closely with us to allow an additional 10,000 Pageant goers to attend this year.” 

“The National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant ballot registrations will open next Friday at 10am through Ticketek, and we have all of our Christmas elves busily working ahead of the November 13 Pageant spectacular, both for those who secure tickets, but also to all our wonderful viewers watching from home this year,” said Mr Gilbertson. 

“The support from everyone involved in the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant is overwhelming, and for this year’s Pageant to move ahead with an extra 10,000 people in attendance is good news for South Australia,” said Vito Borrello, National Pharmacies Chief Executive Officer.
